OUR ORIGINS

It was in Spain that Logista began its business activity in the distribution of tobacco products with the network of tobacconists.

Following its merger with MIDESA in 1999, Logista integrated the distribution of books and publications to its business activities in Spain and Portugal.

AN ORGANIC GROWTH AND DIVERSIFICATION IN SPAIN AND PORTUGAL

Since its creation, Logista has developed a strategy of organic growth, through the constant enlargement of its offer and diversification in new specialized sectors.

Certain events have marked the history of the Group since its creation:

  • Creation of Logistadis, the subsidiary of « wholesaler » local product distribution
  • Integration of Transportation Services through the acquisition of Nacex and Integra  2
  • Creation of Logesta, subsidiary of the Group specialized in the management of long distance and full load transportation
  • Creation of Logista Pharma, subsidiary of the Group specialized in distribution for the pharmaceutical industry

AN INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION

In 2004, Logista expanded internationally with the acquisition of Etinera and the creation of Logista Italia, thus becoming the distribution leader of tobacco and convenience products in Southern Europe.

In 2007, Logista pursued its growth in Poland with the creation of Logista Polska.

In 2008, Imperial Brands acquired Logista, which would then manage its logistical operations in France until October 2012, the year in which it acquired 100% of the business activity and created Logista France (formerly Group ADF).

Today, Logista is the uncontested leader in the distribution of products and services to local shops in Southern Europe.

Logista continues to strengthen its business activities while enlarging its portfolio of products and services, but also its presence in growing sectors and maintaining excellent relations with its clients and suppliers.
